A family ski holiday works best when the daily routine is manageable. Choose the lesson meeting point first, then the accommodation—not simply the largest ski area. These Austrian examples have documented children’s facilities; they are not a ranking.
Ask the school about minimum age, lesson language, group level, meeting point and breaks. A children’s ski area is not automatically childcare. Confirm supervision, lunch and collection arrangements separately, especially when adults plan to ski elsewhere.
Check the route in ski boots from accommodation to rental, lesson and lift. A cheaper apartment farther away can mean extra bus journeys. Add lessons, equipment, lift access, meals and transport to the accommodation price; do not assume a family offer includes every item.
