01

Where should I stay?

For a central stay, search around Seefeld station and the pedestrian zone. For ski days, compare that location with Rosshütte, Gschwandtkopf or the Birkenlift/Geigenbühel practice areas. These are separate starting points.

02

Where can I check snow, weather and open lifts?

See the mountain on the webcams. For your ski day, open the operator’s information on snow conditions and lift operation.

03

How do I plan the journey?

By train: Seefeld has a station and bus terminal by the pedestrian zone. Regional buses connect the surrounding villages. Ask your accommodation for the digital guest card before arrival if you want to use its included regional transport.

Arriving by plane? Compare a transfer from your airport to your accommodation with Alps2Alps.

04

What costs should I include?

Compare the same dates and number of ski days. Your total includes accommodation, travel, ski pass, equipment and food. Add lessons or excursions only if you want them.

Compare the tariff for your chosen ski area with the regional Happy Ski Card. For first lessons, ask the school which practice-lift ticket you need.

05

Where can I find suitable ski lessons?

The local ski-school directory below lists providers and their course information. Choose beginner or advanced lessons, then compare group and private lessons. Before booking, check the meeting point, lesson language and whether the ski pass and equipment are included.

What else should I know about this place?

For beginners

Seefeld’s official guide distinguishes Birkenlift/Geigenbühel, Gschwandtkopf and Rosshütte. Choose a specific learning area rather than treating the whole region as one beginner slope.

Winter without skiing

Seefeld’s official winter-walking guide helps you choose a route on the plateau. For a separate outing, visit Innsbruck’s Nordkette or Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens. Both require travel from Seefeld; neither attraction is at the village lifts.
